Voluntary certification
Product certification is the process of confirming the conformity of the product's properties with the requirements of the technical regulation. In addition to risk analysis, testing in an accredited laboratory and comparison of product properties with the requirements of the regulation, it usually also includes supervision of the stability of the quality of the certified product for the duration of the certificate's validity. The certification output is the issuance of a certificate that confirms that the product complies with the technical requirements.
Voluntary product certification is carried out in the area of the unregulated sphere, i.e. if the products are not covered by binding European standards.
The voluntary certification process consists of the following steps:
- Request
- Price offer
- Submission of documents
- Document review
- Review report and list of deficiencies
- Removal of deficiencies by the applicant
- Decision and certificate issuance
In case of positive results of the documentation review, a CERTIFICATE and certificate of compliance with European standards is issued. Voluntary certification is an added value for every manufacturer who wants to establish himself in the market among competitors. The manufacturer is responsible for the product and its quality, and therefore must strive to ensure that its product meets all the requirements placed on it.

- verification of the purpose used and compliance of the product with harmonized standards and guidelines

- verification of the accuracy of the information in the instructions for use with regard to the intended use of the product

The result of the verification is an opinion in the form of a certificate and protocol. The certificate is valid for 5 years. Verification is an activity carried out on a voluntary basis as an independent assessment by a third party.
